strung-out
Worn from substances
Strung-out describes someone in a state of physical or mental exhaustion, typically from drug use or withdrawal.
A strung-out addict is jittery, depleted, desperate for the next fix.
The term extends to anyone worn down by stress or anxiety: I've been so strung-out from work I can barely think.
