fatigued
Needing some rest
Fatigued means exhausted or worn out, whether from physical exertion, mental strain, or prolonged stress.
The word carries a slightly formal or clinical tone compared to simply saying tired: The fatigued soldiers finally made camp.
Materials can also be fatigued—weakened by repeated stress: fatigued metal prone to cracking.
