alumni network
Former students' circle
An alumni network is the organized community of graduates from a particular institution—typically a university, but also prep schools, corporate training programs, or other organizations.
These networks facilitate professional connections, mentorship, and career opportunities among former members: She got the job through her law school's alumni network.
The value of such networks often factors into educational decisions, with elite institutions touting their alumni connections as assets.
