ageable
Able to mature
Ageable describes something capable of being aged, typically improving or developing desirable qualities over time.
Wine, cheese, and whiskey are ageable—they benefit from extended storage under proper conditions.
The term also applies to people or characters whose appearance can be convincingly altered to seem older: an ageable face for the makeup artist to work with.
Also spelled agable.
