aftermaths

What events leave

Aftermaths is the plural of aftermath—the consequences or results that follow an event, especially a disastrous or significant one: The aftermaths of the two hurricanes overwhelmed relief agencies.

The word originally meant the second growth of grass after mowing, but now almost exclusively refers to periods following crises, wars, or upheavals.
