acromion
Shoulder blade's peak
The acromion is the bony projection at the outer end of the shoulder blade, forming the highest point of the shoulder.
It connects with the collarbone and provides attachment for muscles of the arm and shoulder.
Injuries here often involve the acromioclavicular joint: She separated her shoulder when she fell on the acromion.
