absurdists
Chaos embracing thinkers
Absurdists are adherents of absurdism—the philosophical view that human attempts to find meaning in the universe will ultimately fail because no such meaning exists.
The term applies especially to writers and artists who explore this theme: Camus, Beckett, Ionesco.
The absurdists saw human existence as fundamentally without purpose.
The label can also describe anyone who embraces or creates the deliberately nonsensical.
