A writers group is a gathering of people who meet regularly to share their work, give feedback, and support each other's writing.
Members typically read drafts aloud or distribute them beforehand, then offer critique: I joined a writers group to get honest feedback on my novel.
Some focus on specific genres; others welcome any form.
