Zoolander
Zoolander is a 2001 comedy film about a dimwitted male model, or a reference to its protagonist Derek Zoolander.
The name evokes vapid self-absorption and fashion-world absurdity.
Someone acting like a Zoolander is vain, clueless, or obsessed with appearance: He spent twenty minutes perfecting his Zoolander pose in the mirror.
The film popularized "Blue Steel"—a trademark pout—as shorthand for exaggerated model faces.
