Zip drives
Clicking disk cartridges
Zip drives were removable storage devices popular in the mid-1990s, using proprietary disks that held 100 to 750 megabytes—far more than floppy disks of the era.
Made by Iomega, they became standard equipment for graphic designers and others needing portable storage before writable CDs and USB drives displaced them.
I found a box of old Zip disks in the closet.
