XOR

True when unequal

XOR is the exclusive-or operation, a fundamental logic gate that outputs true when its inputs differ.

In circuit diagrams and programming documentation, the capitalized form appears as a standard operator: A XOR B equals 1 only when A and B have different values.

Used extensively in checksums, cryptography, and bitwise manipulation. (Lowercase xor is the same operation.)
