Wild Bunch
Untamed outlaw group
The Wild Bunch was an outlaw gang in the American West during the 1890s, led by Butch Cassidy and including the Sundance Kid.
They robbed banks and trains across Wyoming, Utah, and neighboring territories.
The name now evokes romanticized frontier lawlessness.
Sam Peckinpah's 1969 film *The Wild Bunch* borrowed the name for its violent Western about aging outlaws.
