wildness
Feral, uncontrolled nature
Wildness is the quality of being wild—untamed, uncontrolled, or unconstrained.
It applies to animals not domesticated, to landscapes unshaped by human hands, to weather that rages, to behavior that defies convention: the wildness in his eyes, the wildness of the storm.
Wildness can be dangerous or liberating, depending on context.
