The Texas Rangers are a law enforcement agency with statewide jurisdiction in Texas, among the oldest such agencies in North America.
Founded in the 1820s, Rangers historically pursued outlaws, guarded the frontier, and became legendary figures in Western mythology.
The Texas Rangers are also the Major League Baseball team based in Arlington, Texas.
