VFW hall
Post for servicemembers
A VFW hall is a building operated by a local post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, an American veterans' organization.
These halls serve as meeting places for members and often host community events—bingo nights, wedding receptions, fish fries, fundraisers.
They're fixtures of small-town America, typically modest buildings with a bar and function room: We rented the VFW hall for the reunion.
