Twihards
Sparkly vampire fans
Twihards are passionate fans of the *Twilight* book and film series.
The term blends *Twilight* with *hard*, suggesting intense devotion.
Like similar fandom labels, it can be self-adopted with pride or applied by outsiders with mild derision: The Twihards camped out overnight for the movie premiere.
The term peaked in the late 2000s alongside the franchise's popularity.
