Trans-Canada Highway

National cross-country road

The Trans-Canada Highway is the main highway spanning Canada from the Atlantic to Pacific coasts, running roughly 8,000 kilometers from St.

John's, Newfoundland to Victoria, British Columbia.

It passes through all ten provinces and remains the longest national highway in the world.

Canadians often refer to it simply as the Trans-Canada: We drove the Trans-Canada from Toronto to Calgary.
