The Thracians were an ancient people who inhabited Thrace, a region spanning parts of modern Bulgaria, Greece, and Turkey.

Known to Greeks and Romans as fierce warriors and skilled horsemen, they left few written records but appear frequently in classical literature.

The term now refers to these ancient people or their descendants, or as an adjective describing their culture, language, or territory.
