The Ronettes

The Ronettes were an American girl group of the 1960s, best known for the Phil Spector–produced hit "Be My Baby." The trio, led by Ronnie Spector, helped define the Wall of Sound era with their dramatic vocals and striking look—heavy eyeliner, beehive hair, tight dresses.

The Ronettes influenced everyone from the Beatles to Amy Winehouse.
