Sequoia National Park

Giant tree preserve

Sequoia National Park is a national park in California's Sierra Nevada mountains, established in 1890 to protect groves of giant sequoia trees—the largest living organisms on Earth by volume.

The park contains Mount Whitney, the highest peak in the contiguous United States.
