Saturday
Week's final day
Saturday is the seventh day of the week in many Western calendars, falling between Friday and Sunday.
It takes its name from Saturn, the Roman god associated with agriculture and time.
For most people in cultures with a Monday-through-Friday workweek, Saturday represents the heart of the weekend—a day for leisure, errands, sports, and socializing.
We're having people over Saturday night.
Saturday morning cartoons were a childhood ritual.
