Roland Garros

Roland Garros is a French tennis stadium in Paris that hosts the French Open, one of tennis's four Grand Slam tournaments.

The tournament itself is often called Roland Garros: She won Roland Garros twice.

Named after a French aviator killed in World War I, the venue is famous for its red clay courts, which favor baseline players and produce longer rallies than grass or hard courts.
