Remainer
Anti-Brexit UK voter
A Remainer is someone who supported Britain remaining in the European Union during and after the 2016 Brexit referendum.
The term emerged alongside its counterpart Leaver during that campaign and persists in British political discourse: Remainers argue the economic damage was predictable.
Sometimes used dismissively by Brexit supporters.
