Rain-X
Glass water repellent
Rain-X is a brand of water-repellent coating applied to vehicle windshields and glass surfaces.
The silicone-based treatment causes water to bead up and roll off, improving visibility in rain: I put Rain-X on before the road trip.
The name has become somewhat generic for any glass water repellent.
