Question Time

BBC panel interrogation

A parliamentary practice originating in the UK, where government ministers answer questions from members of parliament.

It occurs regularly, often weekly, and includes Prime Minister’s Questions (PMQs), a high-profile session where the Prime Minister responds to queries from MPs.

Questions are submitted in advance or asked spontaneously, and the event is known for its lively debate and political theater.

During Question Time, the opposition grilled the minister on healthcare policy.
