Phineas and Ferb
Backyard project duo
Phineas and Ferb is an American animated television series (2007–2015) following two stepbrothers who undertake elaborate engineering projects during summer vacation while their sister tries unsuccessfully to expose them.
The show's structure—inventive scheme, sisterly interference, pet platypus secretly battling a mad scientist—became a recognizable formula parodied and referenced in internet culture: giving off Phineas and Ferb energy suggests ambitious, improbably successful creativity.
