Meshach

Babylonian fire survivor

Meshach is a biblical figure, one of three young Hebrew men—along with Shadrach and Abednego—thrown into a fiery furnace by Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar for refusing to worship a golden idol.

According to the Book of Daniel, they emerged unharmed, protected by divine intervention.

The three names often appear together as a set phrase representing faith under persecution.
