L-bend

Ninety-degree pipe fitting

An L-bend is a pipe fitting or section that turns at a right angle, forming an L shape.

The term applies to plumbing, electrical conduit, and other tubing: We need an L-bend to route the pipe around the corner.

In driving, an L-bend is a sharp turn that doubles back, common on mountain roads.
