K-rail

Highway lane separator

K-rail is a heavy concrete barrier used to separate lanes of traffic, protect work zones, or redirect vehicles.

The modular sections interlock and can be moved by crane or forklift, making them standard equipment for highway construction and emergency traffic control.

Also called Jersey barrier, though K-rail refers specifically to the California Department of Transportation's design specifications.
