Bloated crime boss
Jabba refers to Jabba the Hutt, the grotesque slug-like crime lord from the Star Wars films.
Used as a comparison, it describes someone extremely obese or physically repulsive: He sat there like Jabba, surrounded by food wrappers.
The name can also suggest corrupt power or sleazy menace.
The comparison is insulting.
