JIT
Compile while executing
JIT stands for just-in-time, a methodology originating in manufacturing where materials arrive exactly when needed rather than being stockpiled.
In computing, JIT compilation translates code into machine language at runtime rather than beforehand, balancing execution speed with flexibility: The JIT compiler optimizes frequently-used code paths. (Lowercase jit is slang for a young person.)
