ahead-of-time
Before the deadline
Ahead-of-time describes something done before it's needed or before a deadline.
In computing, ahead-of-time compilation converts code to machine language before execution rather than during runtime: The ahead-of-time compiler improved startup performance.
More generally, it means prepared in advance: We finished the project ahead-of-time.
