Honor Code
Academic integrity pledge
An honor code is a set of ethical rules or principles that members of a community—typically students at a school or university—pledge to uphold.
Such codes usually prohibit cheating, plagiarism, and other forms of academic dishonesty, and may require students to report violations they witness.
Schools with strong honor codes often allow unproctored exams, trusting students to behave honestly.
The university's honor code requires students to sign a pledge on every assignment.
