Hannukah

Eight-night Jewish celebration

Hannukah is a variant spelling of Hanukkah, the eight-day Jewish festival of lights commemorating the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem.

The holiday falls in late November or December and is marked by lighting candles on a menorah, one additional candle each night.

Traditional celebrations include spinning dreidels, eating foods fried in oil, and exchanging gifts.
