Great Pyramid

Ancient Egyptian monument

The Great Pyramid is the largest of the three ancient pyramids at Giza, Egypt, built as a tomb for the pharaoh Khufu around 2560 BCE.

It stood as the world's tallest structure for nearly four millennia.

The term sometimes refers to the entire Giza complex: We visited the Great Pyramid on our trip to Cairo.
