GOPers
Right-wing American politicians
GOPers is informal shorthand for members or supporters of the Republican Party, from GOP (Grand Old Party).
The term appears mainly in political journalism and casual political discussion: GOPers in the Senate blocked the amendment.
It carries a slightly dismissive or casual tone compared to "Republicans."
