supply-sider
Reaganomics theory believer
A supply-sider is an advocate of supply-side economics—the theory that tax cuts and deregulation stimulate economic growth by encouraging production and investment.
The term emerged in the 1980s with Reaganomics and often carries political connotations: Supply-siders argue that lower taxes pay for themselves through growth.
Critics use the term dismissively.
