Electro
Shocking comic antagonist
Electro is a style of electronic dance music characterized by drum machines, synthesizers, and robotic vocal effects—emerging in the early 1980s from the fusion of funk and electronic instrumentation.
The term also works as a prefix meaning electric or electrical: electro-acoustic, electro-magnetic.
In casual speech, electro can shorten any compound beginning with electric or electronic: electro car, electro music.
