Clotho
Life's thread maker
Clotho is one of the three Fates in Greek mythology—the spinner who draws out the thread of human life.
Her sisters Lachesis measures the thread and Atropos cuts it.
The name comes from a Greek word meaning "to spin." References to Clotho typically appear in literary or classical contexts: Clotho spins, but who knows when the thread will be cut?
