advent
Emergence of something
Advent refers to the arrival or emergence of something notable or long-awaited: the advent of the internet, the advent of spring.
The word carries a sense of momentousness—you wouldn't use it for ordinary arrivals.
It suggests something that changes circumstances or marks a new era. (Capitalized Advent is the Christian season before Christmas.)
