CBOT is the Chicago Board of Trade, one of the world's oldest futures and options exchanges, founded in 1848.
It originally traded agricultural commodities like wheat and corn, later expanding to financial instruments.
CBOT merged with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 2007 to form CME Group: Soybean futures on CBOT hit a six-month high.
