Brazilian Carnival
Sequined street parade
Brazilian Carnival is the annual festival held before Lent, famous for elaborate parades, samba dancing, and flamboyant costumes.
Rio de Janeiro's celebration features samba schools competing with massive floats and thousands of dancers.
The multi-day event draws millions of participants and tourists, with street parties (blocos) throughout major cities.
We're going to Rio for Carnival this year.
