carnality
Bodily appetite indulgence
Carnality is the quality of being focused on physical, bodily pleasures—especially sexual ones.
The word carries religious or moral weight, implying that someone has prioritized flesh over spirit: The preacher warned against carnality and worldly temptations.
Less commonly, carnality simply means the state of being physical rather than spiritual.
