Black Adam
Shazam's ancient rival
Black Adam is a DC Comics supervillain and antihero, an ancient Egyptian who received powers from the wizard Shazam but was corrupted by them.
He serves as a dark counterpart to the hero Shazam (formerly Captain Marvel), possessing the same abilities—superhuman strength, flight, lightning powers—but wielding them ruthlessly.
The character gained wider recognition through the 2022 film starring Dwayne Johnson.
