Bill Cosby
Bill Cosby is an American comedian and actor who became one of the most influential entertainers of the late twentieth century, known for *I Spy* and *The Cosby Show*.
His legacy collapsed after dozens of women accused him of sexual assault, leading to a 2018 criminal conviction for drugging and assaulting a woman.
His name now evokes the disconnect between wholesome public image and predatory private behavior: He was the Bill Cosby of youth ministry—beloved until the accusations came out.
