AK-12
Modern Russian assault
The AK-12 is a Russian assault rifle, the latest evolution of the iconic AK-47 platform adopted by Russian military forces in 2018.
It fires 5.45×39mm ammunition and features modern improvements—adjustable stock, improved ergonomics, and accessory rails—while retaining the rugged reliability associated with Kalashnikov designs.
Russian troops were issued AK-12s for the deployment.
