wronging
Doing someone harm
Wronging is treating someone unjustly or causing them harm.
The word implies a moral violation—not just hurting someone but doing so unfairly: She couldn't forgive him for wronging her family.
To wrong someone is to commit an offense against them, whether through betrayal, injustice, or deliberate cruelty.
