wrap-around porch
House-hugging outdoor platform
A wrap-around porch extends along two or more sides of a house, typically turning at least one corner.
Common in Victorian and farmhouse architecture, it creates continuous outdoor living space and shade: We sat on the wrap-around porch watching the storm roll in from the west.
