working groups
Teams tackling issues
Working groups are small teams assembled to address specific tasks, problems, or projects.
Unlike standing committees, they typically disband once their objective is complete.
The term appears frequently in organizational, governmental, and academic contexts: The UN established a working group on climate adaptation.
Our working group meets Thursdays to finalize the proposal.
