wine tasters
Vineyard sample judges
Wine tasters are people who evaluate wine professionally or as serious hobbyists, assessing color, aroma, and flavor.
The term also refers to small shallow cups used for sampling wine, traditionally made of silver with dimpled sides that catch the light: The sommelier produced an antique wine taster from his pocket.
